Engineers: How to Sign Up? What are the Membership Benefits?

  1. How much money should I pay to become an Iran Civil Center member?

    2. Nothing! To become an ICC member, you do not need to pay anything. All students, engineers & university faculties can sign up in ICC website free of charge and get the benefits of their membership.

  2. What are the membership benefits?

    3. - It is free!
    - Members can post their topics in forums; ask their questions & share their knowledge.
    - There is always an international business card for members, which is available to the public.
    - All information of members’ profiles is editable anytime, anywhere. These consist of: major of study, educational degree, name of the university, graduation year, work experience, employment status, contact info (office address, telephone & fax numbers, personal website, e-mail) & most of all: software knowledge & fields of interest.
    - Members can upload their resume (C.V.) in PDF, DOC, TXT and HTML format.
    - The members’ profiles are displayed in both English & Persian languages. When a user edits and updates his/her English profile, the Persian profile is automatically updated & vice versa.

  3. I am a mechanical engineer. Can I sign up?

    4. Yes. All students & engineers who are studying or graduated from an engineering field related to the construction indnstry, can sign up & become members of Iran Civil Center.
    At the present time, Iran Civil Center covers the following courses of study:
    «Architectural Engineering», «Chemical Engineering», «Civil Engineering», «Electrical Engineering», «Engineering Geology», «Industrial Engineering», «Mechanical Engineering», «Metallurgy», «Surveying Engineering» & «Urban Panning.»

  4. Can I register online?

    5. Yes. The registration form is filled in and submitted online.
    To start the sign up procedure, you can click on the "Sing Up" button in the "Engineers Database Table" in ICC Home Page:

  5. Is it possible to cancel my membership in the future (due to any reason)?

    6. Yes. However, to do this, you should send an e-mail to ICC Administration regarding your request. You have to send it via the email address, which you have signed up.

  6. How long does it take until my membership be approved and activated?

    7. It takes about 24 until at most 48 hours that your account be approved and activated.

  7. I am a civil engineer, but I am also studying in urban planning at Ph.D. level. In which course should I register myself?

    8. It depends on your decision. However, it is recommended to choose the course of study, which is relevant to your bachelor of degree.
